Sentinels, GAMA, and Shipping Update

Hello Ascendants!

Happy March! We finally have the Sentinel boss miniatures! We are very happy with the final results! Have a look!

 As a reminder, this is a bonus add-on being sent to everyone who is receiving a physical item, at no additional cost.

With the Sentinel delivery, we are at last in the position to send off the final shipment to QML. For those of you who may be wondering, QML is Quartermaster Logistics, a fulfillment solution for the tabletop industry that we have partnered with to ship out your orders. Now that we have everything, we anticipate the time frame for sending everything off to QML will be at the end of this month as was our goal to meet Q1 2020. We are going to GAMA for the first time which starts next week, so we will be away for that event and, as soon as we return to Colorado, the QML shipment will be sent off. While we are (at the time of this update) able to get this shipped out by the end of March, please keep in mind that we will inform you of any potential extensions.

Our goal at GAMA will be to establish as many distribution channels as possible. We very much desire for our games to get into distribution. We understand that this is a very challenging task, and a competitive one at that, but we are committed for the long term, so it is not a matter of if, but when. We are also looking to examine retailer associations and any/all possible ways of getting connected with the people and companies needed to help each other get the word out about the Incarnate Games brand and our games. Backerkit Update and Resolved Issue

Hello Ascendants!

As you know, there have been a number of issues that caused delays with this Kickstarter project. I previously told you that we had reached out to legal counsel to help us resolve those issues. I also mentioned that I would provide you with more information in due time so that you could better understand the challenges that we faced this bringing this project to completion. Having done so, however, the full extent of what we are legally able to say is this: “Incarnate Games and Shuffled Ink have resolved all outstanding issues and claims related to the manufacture and delivery of Ascended Kings.”

I realize this is not necessarily the explanation that you were looking for, but this is all we are able to say.  From this point on, we resolved to put the matter behind us. It is time to focus fully forward on our fans and supporters. We truly appreciate all of your patience throughout the ordeal.

The Backerkit surveys have been sent. We are currently at 75% completion of surveys. Today I am sending out a reminder to all of the backers who have yet to complete the survey. We have been advised by Quartermaster Logistics to send them our Backerkit data after today’s update so they can begin to review the data. I will update you all again once I hear back from them in the next week or so.

If you have not yet filled out your Backerkit survey, please check your email for the reminder I send today and complete it at your earliest convenience.

BackerKit Smoke Test is Live

Hello Ascendants!

The BackerKit smoke test has been sent and is live! Those of you that receive a survey today are part of the smoke test group. The purpose of this is to help us determine if there are any issues with the surveys before the rest are sent out to everyone. The test should take about 72 hours and if you are one of those who was sent an early survey, I encourage you to contact me with any issues or feedback that you have at [email protected]. We also are utilizing BackerKit services, so they will also be able to help you from within their platform online. BackerKit is pretty great, I'm happy with how it's turned out!

Here is a note from BackerKit: 

What is a Smoke Test?

• A smoke test sends surveys to 5% of backers from each pledge level in your campaign.
• It’s a simple way to catch any errors in your survey and make sure everything runs smoothly.
• Once your smoke test has been completed, you can send surveys to the rest of your backers.

Alright guys! The plan for Monday is to send out all the rest of the surveys. This should be around 5 PM Mountain Time Monday, December 23, 2019.

Ascended Kings has Arrived!

Tidings, Ascendants! Tidings of great joy!

I am beyond excited to bring you the best news since we finished the campaign…

ASCENDED KINGS IS HERE!

Yes! I am unable to express how stoked I am and just how thankful I am to each and every one of you that helped make this possible! Yesterday we finally received the long-awaited shipment of Ascended Kings and the miniature packs at our warehouse. Behold, I present to you photographic evidence! (Comments in captions)

Now that we have the final products, I am able to finalize the Backerkit surveys and get them out to you all. This is almost done and my aim is to have those emails sent to you all by Friday this week.

The Sentinel (150mm boss miniature free add-on reward to everyone receiving a physical item) molds are now complete as well. Those are shipping separately and we will be receiving them in January.  This will work out well though as we will be getting your completed surveys via Backerkit over this time. Below are some photos of the final sculpting.

We plan to have your orders fulfilled in Q1 2020. I do not have a specific time window for it exactly yet, but as we are working with Quartermaster Logistics that information will be made available to all of our backers once we get the schedule from them.

In the spirit of Christmas, I am also thrilled to bring you our first fulfillment, the digital copies of Ascended Kings: Pocket Guide to Empyrnea! I hope you are ready for some really cool high-fantasy lore because Nick Macari (author of the graphic novel as well) delivers that in spades with this amazing book! Please also know that the physical copies of the lorebook (pictured above the graphic novel) continue to remain part of physical fulfillment.

IMPORTANT! To receive your digital copy of the lorebook, I am posting another Kickstarter "backers only" update after this one. Keep an eye out for that and enjoy!
